Hospital and Aged Care Wall Protection
Hospital bed wall protection that stops the damage at the source.
The same walls behind the same beds, patched and repainted every few months. There is a simpler way. One that stops the bed before it reaches the wall, with no drilling, no contractors, and nothing your residents ever notice.

A single repair looks small. Add the callout, materials, repainting, the room taken out of service and the disruption to staff, and most rooms need it more than once a year.
- $679
- a repair, every few months
- $347 + GST
- to protect the room for good
- One avoided repair covers it.
How facilities protect walls, and what actually works
There are a few ways to protect walls from beds. In a resident's room, most create new problems.
Wall sheets and crash rails
Industrial and cold. They turn a resident's room into a clinical corridor, the opposite of the home from home feeling aged care is built on. They fix to the wall, so they bring drilling, contractors and room downtime.
Corner guards
They protect exposed corners, not the flat walls behind the beds where the impact actually happens. See WallGuard corner guards.
Bumpers fixed to the bed
These can cause more damage, not less. Attaching bumpers to the bed frame moves hard fixing points around with the bed. We have repaired plenty of walls damaged by the very fittings meant to protect them. They also wear out and get removed.
BedStop Pro
Floor mounted, and never seen. It sits quietly on the floor and stops the bed before it reaches the wall, so it removes the cause rather than hiding the symptom. Nothing on the wall, nothing on the bed, nothing to disturb the room.
BedStop Pro, floor mounted and out of sight
Commercial grade rubber holds the bed a safe distance from the wall. Your own team installs it in under ten minutes. It works with all standard hospital beds, including electric, manual and bariatric, and it lifts and repositions if the layout changes. It wipes clean and suits infection control. From $347 + GST.
